Organizational Structures

The institutional bodies of EXCITE Zurich are the General Assembly (EXCITE members), the Steering Committee, and the EXCITE office.

The General assembly contains more than 50 researchers from the ETH, the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), the University Hospital of (Zurich USZ) as well as the University of Zurich (UZH). The member base of EXCITE reflects the diversity and the complementary alignment of methodological and technological approaches and, moreover, the various applications pursued.

The Steering Committee is composed of members of both founding institutions, ETH, UZH, and the USZ as well as the PSI to foster cross-​fertilization and interdisciplinary activities. The Steering Committee is responsible for the general strategy of EXCITE Zurich.

The Office manages operations and is responsible for the efficient interaction and communication with the partners and with the HMZ office.
